Delightful Food

Thailand is a land so far away I hardly knew where to find it on the map.  Then I did the google thing and discovered Confucius was a Thai, or seems so as he does use

Bangkok often in his sayings and teachings.

The Thai’s refer to it as a Kingdom, I am not too sure why but maybe it is the correct term. To me it is so exotic it is dangerous.  The people and the culture are rich in diversity and colourful in their creations.  This is why I had look deeper into the cuisine, no; I do not have the courage to try it out as I am very bland in my food intakes.  The recipes displayed gave me an insight to the art of vibrant foods and adventurous eating.  If you go for a visit to Thailand you cannot, not try every possible variation of their culinary delights.

    Thailand is a kingdom because they have a king and it has been a monarchy for many many years. It only recently has become a fully-fledged democracy, and you can see there are still many political problems due to corruption and the current democratic process in Thailand.

    However; Thailand is a beautiful country, with many wonderful sights, and the food is like no other.. almost a fusion between east and west - the thai food is something that not many people forget!
